DDA compliancy
We all need to consider people with disabilities and informational and directional signage is particularly relevant. Colour, contrast and text size are extremely important to make the signs more easily readable. Texture is another factor to think about and consider also the height of the sign; can it be easily read by someone in a wheelchair?
All safety signs produced by SIGNARAMA comply with Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act Regulations 2004. Signs should be placed at a suitable height; directional information placed at all entry points, identification signs next to doors while fire exit notices should be visible from all directions. Braille script and raised graphics can be added to any sign.
